ANNOUNCING ANALYTICALC-88 If you find this program useful and also have Rainbows, IBM PCs, or compatibles, a version is available for the 8088 with exactly the same functionality as this one. It runs just fine on the IBM AT also. Required equipment is PCDOS 2.0 or later, 256K RAM, and at least 1 360K (DSDD) floppy on IBM lookalikes or one Rainbow floppy. For MSDOS 2.0 or later, sligltly more memory may be needed. The software comes on non copy-protected disks with machine readable documentation (to reduce costs), but is licensed on a non-copying basis (like a book, you may use it in several places, but ONLY ONE AT A TIME.) The 8088 version most closely resembles the DEC PRO 350 version or PDP11 version, but is not heavily overlaid so runs faster. Support for black and white or color screens is included for IBM PC and lookalikes. 132 column support for Rainbows also exists. The distribution is 2 DSDD disks for IBMPC lookalikes with the program and its associated files on one and manuals and documents on another. In addition to the normal PCGRAF style graphics, a piecharter in BASIC is included as a demo. Also the DTC (Desktop Calendar) program is included as a free extra. Full manuals are online, with hardcopies available at an extra cost of $15. per copy. The Form 1040 worksheet is included to help you use the program for your taxes at no extra cost. The price is $49.95 per license, plus $5.00 postage and handling per copy ordered. Over 3 licenses cost $35.00 each (after ($49.95 for the first copy, $35 for each license afterwards, plus $5.00 for the first copy.) Site licenses are available. A corporation wide license permitting unlimited use in a company of any size will be sold for $1500.00, source code another $500.00 to site license sites only. Additional terms can be arranged by mail. A pair of additional graphics utilities and several other utilities are included in the distribution. In addition to the piecharter, a second graphics utility able to handle several datasets is included. It contains linear regression capability. The price includes the entire package (with the usual "as is" warranty to avoid large lawsuits). I have no facilities for handling credit cards (yet), or P.O.s so terms are cash, check, or money order. If the media are defective, they will be replaced free within 30 days. Since you can copy the disks, you can protect yourself via backups easily and won't need to continually get back. Registered owners go on my list of people to be told of upgrades, which will be available for reduced rates. Unpaid users are violating copyright laws and may be sued. The AnalytiCalc 88 product is priced NOT to rip you off, so you have no excuse for stealing it. to order write to Glenn Everhart GENERAL CYBERNETIC ENGINEERING P.O. Box 748 Mt. Holly NJ 08060 order item is ANALYTICALC-88 per kit: $49.95 License only (if over 3 ordered) $35.00 per license Postage and handling: $5.00 (U.S.) Specify IBM PC DSDD____________ or Rainbow ____________ Rainbow formats $3.00 extra per disk kit (those RX50's are expensive). Program does not fit on IBM SSDD format, so requires DSDD disks. 256K memory required; 320K recommended. Add N.J. sales tax (6%) if applicable. Thank you. NOTE: Rainbow support is not well tested. IBM PC support is well tested; the program runs on IBM PC, XT, and AT with or without 8087 or 80287. It also runs on most other MSDOS machines in which either the IBM BIOS call is emulated for console output (INT 09) or which have ANSI cursor controls. Rainbow versions may require more than 256K for the "256K" version; depends on the size of MSDOS in that machine. MSDOS 2.X is required. Rainbow distribution is done via squeezing the files and supplying the software on SSDD IBM formatted disks. The USQ program to unsqueeze the files is supplied also.
