This directory contains the user's guide (PIC.RNO) and the example PIC files. The user's guide file PIC.RNO is in RUNOFF input format; the command file FORMAT.COM can be run to generate the formatted version PIC.MEM. The graphics example cannot be plotted by RUNOFF; once the .MEM file has been generated, print it off on 8.5 x 11 paper. If you have a HP plotter, run the examples thru PIC. Now use the graphics device driver for the HP plotter you have to get the graphics output on the paper you have the documentation. If you list the example PIC files (all of these have .CMD extentions), and compare them to the documentation, you will be able to find out what example goes on what page. The origin is set such that the picture should fall at the correct place on the paper that also carries text. There are some other .RNO files; these are included in PIC.RNO. HASH.MAC is the input to the DECUS-ICR MACRO processor. The processed version, with the macro expanded is in HASH.CMD which is what PIC can accept.
