dear john,
thanks for the advice; i got the missing .ini-File now and it is
running. i plan to use it next month to do some massive conversions.
initial tests discovered the following problems which were easy to
fix:
	.SKIP is translated to \SMALLSKIP, which in (our) LaTeX does
        not leave paragraph-mode immediately! -we added a \PAR-; the
        same problem probably occurs in other places

	\ should translate to $\backslash$ not \backslash!

Could you possible put us on a mailing-list to exchange 
bugs/corrections concerning RNOtoTEX, since we believe it to be a
good base-program for that problem; but inevitably will need
enhancements ro be done.
