Various tools from: Nick de Smith Applied Telematics Group 7 Vale Avenue Tunbridge Wells Kent TN1 1DJ England +44 892 511000 PSI%234213300154::NICK All programs and routines are (fully) tested, and believed working under V5.1. These a just a few usefull (to me) tools. MONPAT_V5.COM PATCH command file to enable "hidden" MONITOR classes. NOCONTROL_Y.MAR Progam to disable the CONTROL/Y AST declared by DCL. This enables programs on dialup lines to stay active when a modem line drops, such that when the line comes back, the program is still there. A very useful tool if you like to leave servers running on ports (that is, when they must have a CLI). SORT_DISKQUOTA.COM Command file that sorts the [000000]QUOTA.SYS file used by DISKQUOTA et al into ascending alphabetical order. This can make maintenance of diskquotas clearer by allowing you to find entries easily and to spot anomalies. Warning mesages are displayed when identifiers are within a set % of their quota, and when they are over quota. UAF2.COM / UAF3.COM Command files that examine SYSUAF.DAT for suspect / concealed data as used by certain Ger**n hackers when attacking systems. This can give you a quick check that no-one is writing funny data into the secret fields in the UAF. [end]
