NSWC RUNOFF NSWC RUNOFF is based on, and derived from, Bonner Lab Runoff (VAX version) from the VAX86C VAX SIG Tape. NSWC RUNOFF has been updated since it was previously submitted in Spring 1989, mainly with problem fixes. There is also now a 95% complete document. We use this extensively at our site, and consider it a stable product. CHANGES.NSWC has a description (brief and cryptic sometimes) of all changes made at NSWC from Bonner Lab Runoff through the current RNO 1.007. Contact me if you need more information on differences from Bonner Lab Runoff. The utility is invoked with the verb RNO. There is a RNO.CLD which needs to be activated first; the IMAGE line in RNO.CLD needs to be edited to reflect the pathname to the executable program, RNO.EXE. There is a RNO.HLP. The sources to RNO which have changed since the last submission are in [.PROGRAM], and the RNO document is in [.DOCUMENT], under this directory. See 000README.1ST in each of these for more information. Unlike Bonner Lab Runoff, which was available in versions for PDP-11s and VAXes, NSWC RUNOFF only runs under VAX/VMS. RNOINDEX and RNOBAR are two utilities which post-process .DOC files output by RNO. RNOINDEX implements the two-column index capability, and RNOBAR does things with change bars. Each of these has a HELP file and a .CLD. Their sources, if changed since the last submission, are also in [.PROGRAM]. I would be interested in knowing of sites which decide to use this utility.
