.hl 1 Oracle
Oracle is a database management system that runs on the VAX. It should
automatically come up during a system boot and be brought down and then
up again during backups. To verify that it is running, type in "SHOW SYSTEM".
If it is up, there are 4 processes that should be running: ORACLEP$BWR,
ORACLEP$BIW, ORACLEP$CLN, and ORACLEP$ARH. If it is down and it needs to

come up, type "ORACLE_START". If it is up and it needs to
come down, type "ORACLE_STOP".
