Fourth Generation Languages SIG Library collection Version: Fall 1990

    Abstract: This is a combined effort by the Fourth Generation
 Languages SIG to produce a library of items related to or using
 DATATRIEVE, RALLY, or ACCENT-R.

    At the request of the VAX and L&T SIG tape coordinators, this
 submission has only the items which are new or significant since the
 last SIG tape collection (otherwise it takes up too much space).  The
 entire collection is on past SIG tapes, CD-ROMs, and in the DECUS
 Library as VS00059.

[.DATATRIEVE]
                [.FUNCTIONS] DTR functions including calling VMS Help
                             libraries, SOUNDEX, some new string
 			     functions.
                [.SCOPELLITI] DTR functions supplied by Pat Scopelliti
                   of Corning.
                [.SWAN] submission from David M. Swan including a
                   Datatrieve Forms Interface (substitute for FMS),
                   a menu driver for Datatrieve, a banner program which
                   demonstrates the technique of full CLI parsing from a
                   foreign command, and the text of two of his magic sessions.
                [.SYSMGR] VAX system management with DTR: the processing
 			  of a log of installed images has been improved.

[.GENERAL]      Below this are sections which are of general interest:

             ** [.4GL_COMPARISON]  Below this are directories containing
                               some of the 4GL Comparison Panel / Problem
                               session entries.
                [.NEWSLETTERS] machine-readable copies of past newsletters
             **                Several past issues which were missing, and
                               September through December 1989 added
                               by Steve Cordiviola.  Also a Bookreader
			       version of one newsletter has been added
			       by Julie DeDufour.
                [.SESSIONS] transcripts of Symposia sessions: the
 			    latest Record Definition Tutorial is
 			    included.

 [.RALLY]	Make the EVE editor keypad look like the Rally internal
 		editor.
