RE:   Translation of DBAG Manual from Portuguese to English

	I volunteered (key DECUS word!!!) to translate the manual for this
data base program from the original Portuguese, using my fluent Spanish and
a Portuguese dictionary as my only resources...
	The DBAG manual on the current DECUS tape contains three main 
sections and some appendices. Titles for 7 additional sections are present in 
the Index of the manual but no text seems to have been submitted to DECUS yet.
It appears that these sections were anticipated but have not yet been written 
by the DBAG developers. In any event, I have translated the sections included 
on the DECUS tape supplied me by Glenn Everhart.
	This is a "one-pass" translation and could use some cleaning up. I 
will continue to work on it and hopefully have a better version later this year.
Note that in addition to sections with titles and no content, there are within 
the Commands section some headings with no content either.These appear to 
be "template" headings which are left blank intentionally for some commands.
I added no intentional blanks in my translation, although I did leave "(?)" as 
a marker for some passages that I just couldn't get to make sense.
	Below is an outline of the Index for the DBAG manual showing
the status of each chapter:

	There is a note in one of the DBAG subdirectories to the effect 
that the online HELP is in English and is quite comprehensive. (I have
not tried to use DBAG yet).
