The *source* (*.c, *.h, *.el) compiles unchanged.  
The >makefile< (top level) needs two changes:

PATH=/usr/ucb:/usr/bin:/bin # somewhere near the top...
                            # this is so install(8) will work

and

change "install -s" to "install" on the line that puts xemacs in place.
The binary will die an ugly death in a coredump if you strip it.

<sigh>  I like my '6000's.... MOST of the time.
