This directory contains the XForms, a graphical user interface toolkit for X Window Systems. Also included in this package is a GUI designer meant to help you design interaction dialogues in a WYSIWYG way and write the corresponding C code. If you like, you can try http://bragg.phys.uwm.edu/xforms or http://www.uwm.edu/~zhao for a guided "tour" of XForms. If you're from Europe or having problems with this host, try ftp.cs.ruu.nl /pub/XFORMS. There is also a mailing list for XForms. send an empty mail to xforms-request@cs.ruu.nl with the following header subscribe (you name) your_email_address to contribute to the mailing list, send mail to xforms@cs.ruu.nl Check the www page for further info. Although pixmapbutton requires libXpm to function, you do not need to have it to run the rest of the XForms. Simply removing -lXpm from the SYSLIB line in mkconfig.h will compile all other classes of objects. It is, however, recommended that you get the XPM package, available from most of the X distribution sites. Please also read the README file in the platform specific directory.
