Take the motherboard out of that PC and replace it with DEC's EBP20-BA.  It's a
baby-AT size motherboard with a 166 MHz Alpha, and all of the usual PC
peripherals: 4 ISA slots, 4 PCI slots, 2 serial, 1 parallel, SCSI, IDE (yes,
both), floppy, PS/2 keyboard & mouse ports.  Price:  $1,170 with chip, w/o
memory.  There's also a version that runs OSF/1 for the same price.

An article in today's Chicago Tribune about that: Intel states that they will
replace customer's Pentiums that exibit the problem.  But, they emphasize that
this error has only occurred once, and that most people will never encounter it.
It's not likely, unless you're running simulations or cad/cam, etc. that you
would hit it.  They'll only replace the chip if you can describe how you got
the error; i. e. they're not going to replace every chip out there.
