The other goodie is of course that you can only do that by dumping the database in test format, editing it, and then reloading it. Of course Ultrix being a member of the Unix clan means that one can do all this on the fly without record or file locking getting in the way. (or users for that matter) ho hum....... just in case anyone needs to know the format is: /var/dss/kerberos/bin/kdb_util dump TEXT_DB (edit the changes) /var/dss/kerberos/bin/kdb_util load TEXT_DB try to keep all your filenames in uppercase...it annoys the heck out of unix weenies (they have to stop playing with themselves to reach the shift key) =============================================================================== Brian A McMillan | Colloquium | Telephone: FDS Ltd | Email and Conferencing | 6/7 Steeple Square | "Knowledge today is *power* tomorrow" | 01505 702030 Kilbarchan PA10 2JD | | Scotland | MCMILLAN@COLLOQUIUM.CO.UK | ===============================================================================
