If you go to OpenVMS VAX V6.1, you'll need a CSC patch to be able to
use Seagate drives, per Vance Haemmerle, vance@alumni.caltech.edu:

       CSCPAT_1148 V1.0 (VAXDRIV03_061)


Without the patch, attempts to mount the Seagate drives under OpenVMS VAX V6.1
results in

    %MOUNT-F-DRVERR, fatal drive error
