In order to get a driver for this card configured and running on the DEC 2000 Model 300 (aka DECpc AXP 150) take the following steps: 1) Run the VMS/OSF ECU and manually add the ISA card to the appropriate EISA slot, writing down the IRQ that the card is using. Be sure card jumpers are set to match resources selected via the ECU. 2) Install the card, and power up. 3) Boot machine and log in. At OpenVMS prompt issue the MCR SYSMAN IO SHOW BUS command. 4) type the command: $MCR SYSMAN IO CONNECT xxA0: - ! where xx is your dev ! name. $_ /DRIVER=yourdriver.exe - $_ /ADAPTER=y -! where y is the TR number of the EISA ! ADP from the SHOW BUS display (2 for ! this platform) $_ /CSR=z -! where z is the value shown for the floppy ! CSR in the SHOW BUS display (The base of ! EISA IO space) $_ /VECTOR=4*irq - $_ /NODE=slot_number Scott Apgar OpenVMS Engineering -- +---------------------------------------------------------------------------+ Scott W.
